Philanthropy Manager (Trusts)

Harris Hill are delighted to be supporting a renowned national children's charity in their search for a Philanthropy Manager to join their high performing team Trusts team.

The Philanthropy Manager position sits within the Trusts & Statutory Team of the Major Giving Department, which is focused on securing both one-off and multi-year gifts from institutional funders. As Philanthropy Manager you will contribute to the Income Generation Directorate's aim of maximising income from supporters and prospects through bespoke fundraising activity. You will manage a portfolio of around 50 supporters and prospects - some active, some cold and deliver the fundraising budget in line with business requirements by managing a portfolio of trusts and foundations, with a personal income target of around £100,000 per annum. You will also support on the development of a funder stewardship event, alongside other team members.

To be considered for this role, you will need:

- Experience of building and managing effective relationships with high level individuals and organisations, with proven skills in making successful funding requests / winning new business.
- Experience of producing proposals and reports to secure income / the ability to produce compelling written and creative materials.
- Excellent verbal communication skills sufficient to deliver effective fundraising pitches, ideas and project updates to a range of audiences in a clear and inspiring way.

Salary: £24,746 to £33,301 per annum plus Inner London Allowance of £3,366 if eligible
Full-time, permanent
Location: Flexible. You can work remotely, OR in the office (London), OR Hybrid.
