Harris Hill is working with Air Ambulance - Kent, Surrey, Sussex to recruit a Database Manager.
You will be responsible for overseeing the day to day management of the organisational database, Donorflex, working closely with users, developing and updating policies, and improving the effectiveness of the available tools and services.
You will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of fundraising campaigns through the provision of accurate data, and will produce reporting and information to aid decision making and evaluation.
You will also lead the development and delivery of reporting and analysis for our income generation activity, including evaluation of campaigns, products and events.
Key Responsibilities:
-Managing the CRM database (Donorflex) and delivering data and analysis to support the efforts of fundraising campaigns and activity.
-Ensuring that the database is set up to allow easy analysis. Monitor and report on data quality, finding ways to improve this through clear data definitions, processes and guidelines.
-Utilising query tools built in to the CRM system, SQL, Excel or other tools to track and report on KPIs on an ongoing basis.
-Building dashboards and investigate opportunities to introduce new tools (e.g. Tableau, R) that can deliver value to AAKSS in understanding its supporters and performance.
-Identifying any changes required to how data is stored within Donorflex and deliver training for staff on how to utilise the system effectively.
-Implementation and monitoring of the organisation's data rules, including those for data protection and archiving.
-Provision of ad-hoc reports and analysis to aid management decisions on strategy, investment or fundraising activity.
Skills and Experience required:
-Experience in a prior roles as a Data Analyst or Database Manager
-Experience in utilising tools to manipulate, visualise and present data
-Strong relationship skills required to collaborate closely with fundraising teams to plan and evaluate activity, as well as the confidence to make recommendations to senior management.
-Strong knowledge of CRM's and ideally within a fundraising setting
-Adept at influencing others by presenting data in a clear and impactful way.
