Job description
Harris Hill are delighted to be working with a children-related charity to recruit for the Events and Sponsorship Manager. We’re seeking a motivated relationship-builder with a passion for fundraising and sponsorship development.
As part of a dynamic Events team, you’ll play a pivotal role in securing vital sponsorship and managing key donor relationships. You’ll lead the charge in creating and delivering a sponsorship and sales strategy that drives income to support the charity's fundraising events. From prestigious galas to adrenaline-pumping challenges, you’ll work on an exciting portfolio of UK and international events.
As the Events and Sponsorship Manager you will be:
Developing and executing sponsorship strategies to grow revenue.
Identifying, cultivating, and securing corporate partnerships aligned with the charity's mission.
Managing deliverables for sponsorship agreements and ensuring excellent partner engagement.
Driving ticket sales and maximising participation in high-profile fundraising events.
Collaborating closely with the Head of Events to exceed income targets.
To be successful, you must have:
Proven experience in fundraising events, sales, or relationship management.
A solid understanding of sponsorship as a marketing tool for brands.
A proactive, results-driven attitude and a talent for new business development.
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.
Proficiency in standard office software (experience with CRM systems like Raiser’s Edge is a bonus).
A confident and empathetic approach, ready to champion our cause while delivering real results.
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum
Contract type: Full-time, permanent
Location: hybrid (negotiable) with regular visits to HQ in Staffordshire
