Harris Hill is working in partnerships with Woking and Sam Beare Hospice and Wellbeing in their search to find a new Senior Income Generation Manager to work alongside the Director of Income Generation and Marketing.

Title: Senior Income Generation Manager

Hours: Full time, permanent. Flexible working hours available

Salary: £50,000 per annum plus benefits

Location: Ideally on site in Woking 4 days per week

Closing date: Monday 23rd September at 9am

1st stage interviews will be held virtually the weekcommencing the 23rd of September and the 2nd stage will be held in person the week commencing the 30th September.

Fundraising is the backbone of Woking & Sam Beare Hospice and Wellbeing Care, and these essential services are made possible, in part, due to the exceptional fundraising the team does. This is why the Senior Income Generation Manager is a vital role.

 What this role entails?

The primary function of the role of Senior Income Generation Manager is to assist their Director in the delivery of the Fundraising Strategy as part of the wider Income Generation & Marketing Team.

You will need to be an outstanding people person, with exceptional interpersonal skills and leadership experience to support with the governance and leadership of the fundraisers. You will also manage the budgets of the different income streams and monitor and enable the performance of the fundraisers to deliver a +£3.4 million gross income target.

I am looking for an experienced fundraising leader to manage and inspire a team of five fundraisers. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new partnerships that will significantly boost fundraising income. By positioning the Hospice as the charity of choice in the communities they serve, you'll ensure they can continue to provide vital support to those who need it most. 

To be successful in this role:

  • You will have a deep understanding of the fundraising mix, with specific expertise in major gift and legacy relationships.

  • A proven track record of income generation and of managing 2+ people.

  • Be highly personable, with purpose and commitment at your core. You are adept at holding valuable relationships with care and clarity.
