Social Media Developer
Job description
A great opportunity has arisen for a Social Media Developer youth related charity based in Surrey in order to plan, coordinate and implement all social media communications for the charity demonstrating the charity s values, impact and outputs across our range of activities, projects and programmes.
Social Media Developer will explore and implement opportunities for fundraising across current and new social media platforms, ensuring contribution to voluntary income.
Key Responsibilities will include:
Responsible for increasing awareness of the activities of the charity through social media
Responsible for developing the scope of the social media used and the Social Media Strategy with alignment to charity s Communications Strategy
Monitor, Measure and report on key outputs and feedback received via social media communication
Responsible for achieving and maintaining a high standard of communication and ensuring users and the public are safe when interacting with the charity on social media
Responsible for delivering new sources of voluntary income through social media opportunities
Develop, plan and review the social media policy, procedures and guidelines with alignment to charity s Communications Strategy
Manage and implement daily social media posts aligned to the delivery of charity s Social Media Strategy
Carry out awareness campaigns with social media service users with the aim of increasing numbers of people who communicate with the organisation via social media
Ensure that procedures are in place for the storage of personal data and that these are in accordance with the principles of the Data Protection Act and charity s own Confidentiality Policy
Ensure all social media follows charity's Safeguarding Policies
Set up and manage an effective monitoring and evaluation framework for social media
Maintain accurate records for monitoring purposes
Provide accurate and timely reports for management and funders
Review and evaluate own performance and identify and act upon areas for improvement and further training
