If you’re keen to play an active role in protecting the environment, and prefer talking to people in the great outdoors than being stuck in an office on the phone, we might have just the job.
The Woodland Trust is the UK’s leading woodland conservation charity with more than 500,000 members and supporters and over 1,000 sites nationwide. They protect and campaign on behalf of the country’s woods, plant trees, and restore ancient woodland for the benefit of wildlife and people.
Their vision is of a UK that’s rich in its native woods and trees, with all the benefits that brings for the population, as well as restoring and protecting the natural habitat for wildlife.
We’re delighted to be working with the Trust on a nationwide campaign to find people who share their passion and have the confidence and enthusiasm to engage and inspire others, to join them as Membership Development Officers. It’s a fantastically varied role where you could be working from home one day, staffing an event the next, and exploring the woodlands of any of the 18 areas where they currently have openings.
If that all sounds appealing, visit our Woodland Trust page to find out more about the organisation, more details of the role, and how you can apply.
