Location: London SW6 (Hybrid and flexible working arrangements available)

Are you a skilled and proactive leader ready to make an impact in the charity sector? A highly regarded organisation is seeking a Business Services Manager to oversee and enhance its operational excellence across IT, HR, Payroll, Facilities, and Risk Management.

About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Finance & Business Services, you will lead a dynamic team and manage day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth delivery of key services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Operational Management: Streamline services and implement policies to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • HR & Payroll Oversight: Support recruitment, manage staff development, and ensure adherence to HR best practices.
  • Facilities Management: Oversee office premises, IT resources, and supplier contracts.
  • Compliance & Risk: Act as the Data Protection Officer and manage health and safety protocols.
  • Strategic Development: Identify growth opportunities and contribute to organisational strategy.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in leading and developing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong IT, systems implementation, and process review skills.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in charity or social housing sectors (essential).
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership abilities.

Qualifications

  • Qualified by experience or a relevant degree.
  • CMI or ILM qualification (desirable).
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
