Job description

In this impactful role, you’ll be at the forefront of designing and delivering an exciting portfolio of engagement and stewardship events aimed at maximising support for the charity.

Working closely with our Major Giving and Partnerships teams, you’ll identify events that will resonate most with the charity's valued supporters, giving them a unique opportunity to witness first-hand the life-changing impact of their contributions.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Event Management: Design and manage engagement and stewardship events, handling all logistics and ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and nurture positive relationships with both internal teams and external suppliers (venues, AV providers, etc.).

  • Creative Event Design: Innovate by researching and selecting top venues, caterers, and elements that make each event exceptional and memorable.

  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Engagement and Stewardship Manager and other teams to ensure events align with broader fundraising objectives.

  • Budget Management: Oversee event budgets, ensuring all spending is cost-effective and meets financial guidelines.

 

To be successful, you must have experience:

  • Event Expertise: Proven track record of success in managing high-impact events.

  • Relationship Skills: Ability to build and manage relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to achieve objectives.

  • Analytical Skills: Competence in gathering, analysing, and presenting data to identify new opportunities.

  • Project Management: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines amidst competing demands.

  • Creativity and Initiative: A proactive approach to designing unique experiences that inspire support.

  • Attention to Detail: Ability to manage details meticulously while keeping strategic objectives in view.

  • Budgeting Experience: Skilled in managing and adhering to financial constraints, with the foresight to anticipate and resolve budget variances.

 

Salary: £31,703 - £34,851 inc. LW per annum

Contract type:  Full-time, permanent

Location: London, hybrid working with 1 day a week in the office
