Finance Officer

Job description

I am delighted to be working with an amazing London based charity in search of a long-term temporary part-qualified Finance Officer. This is an immediate start, part-time (4-day week) hybrid role. As Finance Officer you will be providing extra support for this fantastic charity during a busy time.

 

Main duties:

Debt Chasing - Chasing outstanding debt from customers

Reconciliation - Reconciling ledger accounts and external files

Spreadsheet - Creating and updating the working sheet - dashboard, power queries, advance formula

Processing supplier's invoices, posting transactions, general support within all functions, etc

 

Intermediate Excel skills:

Complex functions: logic-based functions - COUNTIF and VLOOKUP across multiple sheets,  use of text strings to make multi-step commands.

Pivot tables: Create a pivot table from a series of related sheets; use pivot tables to derive relevant business insights.

Sorting and filtering data: extracting data from complex sources; sorting or segmenting sheets; conditional formatting rules.

Power Queries and Data visualisations - for reporting

Support – should be able to support other team members with managing excel

 

Essentials:

AAT-qualified or part-qualified CCAB

Excellent Excel skills with experience
